Hi there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Taylor and I’m so glad you found your way to Miss Underrated. Don’t mind the mess – I’m still unpacking and rearranging as I grow, post by post.

Miss Underrated was born from a deep desire to carve out a soft, intentional space for myself and other Black women and women of color who are often misread, boxed in, or flat-out ignored. Think of it as part diary, part digital kitchen table, part community bulletin board.

I’m a Black woman navigating her 20-somethings as authentically as possible. I believe in the power of narrative, the connection that happens over a good meal, the healing magic of hobbies, and the richness that lives in our differences.

If you’re still here, feel free to exhale. There’s no standard to meet or box to fit in. This isn’t a space where you need to shrink, filter, or perform. We all deserve somewhere we can simply… be. Whether you’re here for thought-provoking narratives, creative outlets, or just a community that gets it, Miss Underrated is your platform, too. If something resonates with you, feel free to jump into the comments and share your thoughts too. You’re always welcome at this table. Make yourself at home.
